Guests traveling from Boston can take a nonstop flight on TAP Air Portugal or Delta Air Lines
Getting to the Venue
Driving from Lisbon (LIS) to Azeitão takes about 50 minutes. Renting a car is a convenient option, especially if you plan to explore the countryside before or after the celebration.
The main international car rental companies have desks directly in the arrivals area of Lisbon Airport, including Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt, and Guerin. Most offer cars with automatic transmission, GPS, and optional toll transponders.
If you choose to forgo rental car options Uber, Bolt & Taxi services are a great option!

We recommend staying in Azeitão, Sesimbra or Setúbal where you'll find a variety of hotels and airbnbs.
Azeitão
A charming village located between Lisbon and the Arrábida Natural Park, known for its wine tradition, local gastronomy, and beautiful countryside surroundings. It is particularly famous for its wineries, the traditional Azeitão cheese (Queijo de Azeitão), and the regional sweet Tortas de Azeitão. The area is also home to some of Portugal’s most renowned wine producers and historic estates.
Sesimbra
A charming fishing village on the coast, around 45 minutes south of Lisbon, known for its beautiful bay, fresh seafood, relaxed atmosphere, and authentic Portuguese character. It sits between the ocean and the hills of the Serra da Arrábida Natural Park, giving it a mix of beaches, nature, and traditional fishing culture. The town is famous for grilled fish, seafood rice (arroz de marisco), and seaside restaurants.
Setúbal
A lively coastal city around 45 minutes south of Lisbon, known for its bustling waterfront, fresh seafood, historic center, and authentic Portuguese atmosphere. It sits between the Sado Estuary and the hills of the Serra da Arrábida Natural Park, giving it a unique mix of city life, beaches, nature, and maritime culture. The city is famous for its fresh fish, grilled sardines, and especially choco frito (fried cuttlefish), a beloved local specialty served in restaurants throughout Setúbal.
